Sometimes photographers life is just magic. When beautiful light, strong winds and big waves come together, everything turns into magic. 30 knots of breeze, and waves due to long westerly wind period offshore Porquerolles island (FRA, 83) and 2 brave sailors, Yann Regniau and of course the well known Kito Depavant who this fantastic show. It is about 10 years I’m working besides Gilles Martin-Raget and I know that this kind of conditions are extremely rare. I still can’t believe my eyes !
The boat flying between waves and spray all other the boat will remain in my brain forever for sure. This is why I really love my job : to be have the opportunity to see what these offshore sailors are able to do with their crazy machines and to share with everybody else.

Mais lorsque le dernier lacet laisse entrevoir cette presqu’île magnifique on a déjà qu’une envie c’est d’appuyer sur le frein et de rester là à contempler.

Cela faisait un moment que l’on me parlait de cet endroit, mais je n’avais pas encore eu l’occasion de découvrir. Tout y est réuni : falaises, mer Méditerannée, verdure à perte de vue, villas plus belles les unes que les autres. Mais c’est tout petit ? Oui c’est minuscule, mais c’est bien là que vient se réfugier toute la jet-set italienne et les plus beaux yachts.

Un plaisir à déguster sans modération
